John Rizo

John Rizo is a 1984 graduate of the Harvard Law School. He is Bilingual (English/Spanish) and has over 25 years of experience in the practice of law including serving as an Assistant District Attorney for Dallas County, in-house counsel for J. C. Penney and, today, heading his own practice.

Mr. Rizo has tried numerous cases before judges or juries. He has experience in successfully handling business, civil, family, intellectual property, ERISA, accident, CPS, criminal, immigration, and appellate matters in state and federal courts in Texas and across the country. His successes include prosecuting and defending multi-million dollar lawsuits.

Mr. Rizo is admitted to practice before all courts of the State of Texas, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, and Fifth Circuits. John is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Harvard Club of Dallas.
